{"id":1996,"date":"2015-03-05T04:09:16","date_gmt":"2015-03-05T04:09:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qbytes.cloud\/?p=1996"},"modified":"2015-03-05T04:09:16","modified_gmt":"2015-03-05T04:09:16","slug":"ips-missing-in-whmcpanel-server","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.qbytes.cloud\/index.php\/2015\/03\/05\/ips-missing-in-whmcpanel-server\/","title":{"rendered":"IP&#8217;s Missing in WHM\/cpanel Server"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you login to WHM and all the IP&#8217;s are missing.<\/p>\n<p>If you have avahi improperly configured and running on your machine, it will withdraw the IPs on running either a) a reboot, or b) a network restart, so you can check you logs at \/var\/log\/messages for avahi.<br \/>\nYou can either stop avahi or properly register your IPs in avahi for these to be recognized. That service is what is causing the issue to occur.<\/p>\n<p>Run the following to restore the IP addresses:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: bash; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\"># \/etc\/rc.d\/init.d\/ipaliases restart\n<\/pre>\n<p>You may have to restart named to get DNS going again as well.
